Euro Marine Trading, based out of Newport, Rhode Island is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in customer service and sales support. This individual must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is required. Knowledge of UPS and FedEx systems is encouraged although not required. Some of the job responsibilities will include taking customer service calls, maintaining our customer database, assisting the sales team, and customer follow up. We are looking for an organized individual that is a fast learner and team player with a positive attitude. The perfect candidate will not only excel within the position but will also strive to grow within the company. Experience in the marine industry or an understanding of sailboat hardware and equipment is encouraged.

The 2013 Atlantic Cup!
Euro Marine Trading along with Antal and Karver are very pleased to be an official partner in the 2013 Atlantic Cup! The Atlantic Cup presented by 11th Hour Racing is the United States' premier Class40 sailing race. The race kicks off in Charleston, SC on May 11th. From Charleston the competitors will race double-handed to New York City for a quick stopover before the final leg to Newport, Rhode Island (home of Euro Marine Trading). There will be an exciting 2 days of inshore racing when the fleet reaches Newport and we'll be sure to keep you updated with photos and results! Euro Marine Trading, Inc. is expanding again and pleased to welcome Herman Blanke as the newest member of our sales team. He joins Euro Marine Trading with 25+ years of experience in the marine industry, where he managed a variety of businesses catering to the superyacht industry. Herman managed the expansion of Mastervolt Southeast, an importer/distributor of Marine Electrical components.
Herman started his sailing/racing days as a teenager in the Netherlands, competing in the Rainbow, Valk, Yngling and Star class. During his studies in the United States he raced Star boats and Etchells in Miami. His more recent racing activity has been onboard J109s and Farr 40s among other boats. His hands on experience with these boats will aid him in developing new business for Euro Marine Trading’s primary hardware lines, Antal, Karver, and Reckmann.
Herman holds an MBA degree from the HEAO School in the Netherlands as well as an MIB from the Florida International University in Miami. He is fluent in German, Dutch and English, and is conversant in Spanish.
